- If you use the packet drivers (Crynwr's or ftp's), just load up
- winpkt.com with the same vector as your pkt driver. So if you have a
- 509, then
-
- 3c509 -n -w 0x61 /* you probably don't need the -w anymore */
- winpkt 0x61
- ipxodi
- netx
-
- That's it.

- I'm using this product and have registered it. It's _very_ nice, and Caeser

- deathstar.resnet.upenn.edu

-
- I'll bet a registered copy of my ftp server that this is because
- you're using PC-NFS as your winsock stack. They seem to have a major
- problem with this. This is at least one of the reasons why I don't
- recommend use of PC-NFS unless absolutely necessary.
-
- Until someone from the suppliers of PC-NFS can get in contact with me,
- I am going to carry on telling people that PC-NFS is NOT the way to go
- for winsock, since this and a couple of other bugs make it difficult
- or impossible to run any kind of automated server.

- PC-NFS has exactly this same problem with my wftpd ftp server. I view
- this as yet another reason why PC-NFS isn't to be considered as a
- contender in the winsock arena. Unfortunately, some people have made
- the choice to use PC-NFS as their network provider, and they are
- currently stuffed as far as trying to run any kind of automated
- servers.
-
- I have also not heard from any representatives of the makers of
- PC-NFS, so I haven't been able to report this as a problem. I have
- asked all my users who use PC-NFS (many of them now don't use PC-NFS)
- to get in contact with the suppliers' tech support, but no-one has yet
- got back to me on this issue.
